Can you
introduce yourself shortly to my reader?
I am Busiswa
Royi from Stellenbosch in South Africa. I am studying at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, doing second year in
Events Management.
What do
you like about us?
You are
hard workers, have warming smiles and are very friendly.
Do you
think we have weird habits?
Yes, you drink cappuccino all the time... Even if it is 30 degrees!
Can you
describe a typical exchange student?
Most
exchange students exclude themselves from the other students and they tend to
look like nerds.
In what way are we comparable and/or different from that description?
You guys are different, because you interact a lot with students. You are hardworking and still cool at the same.
Are we
changed in the last couple of months? In what way?
Yes, in the beginning you didn't interact that much. But after a while you stopped excluding yourselves from the other students. You have been
interacting with most students in class, which we really like.
Do you
think we can be real South Africans? Why?
Yes, I think students from different classes won’t be able to tell if you are exchange students or "one of the local students", unless we tell them. I think you fit in our class like any other South
African.
